"Out There" chronicles the coming-of-age misadventures of Chad Stevens and his best friend,
Chris Novak. Living in the small town of Holford in the middle of nowhere, the boys wander
the surreal, bleak landscape waiting out their last few years of high school and discovering
that growing up is weird to do. Puberty, first loves, social ostracism, conservative parents,
single moms and their disastrous boyfriend choices.
Fällt leider schon zu Anfang Negativ auf, durch die sehr eintönige und langweilig gesprochene
Off-Stimme von Chad, die sich durch die ganze Folge und wahrscheinlich ganze Serie ziehen wird.
Das ist so ein Fall, da sieht man den Sprecher in seiner Kabine am Tisch sitzen, wie er
gelangweilt seinen Text einspricht. Und obwohl es mit John DiMaggio (Bender in Futurama),
Pamela Adlon (Marcy in Californication), Megan Mullally (Karen in Will & Grace), Fred
Armisen (Saturday Night Live) und Kate Micucci (Nervensäge in Überall) einen ziemlich
Prominenten Sprecherstamm hat, kommt in der Hinsicht kaum Stimmung auf. Ansonsten auch nicht.
Ist jetzt nicht wirklich schlecht, aber animiert mich auch nicht zum weiter schauen.
