Google Cardboard (oder andere Billig-VR-Halterung mit Linsen) + Android Phone + "Trinus VR"-Android-App + PC + USB Kabel + SteamVR + Seated VR Game (wie Dirt Rally), und natürlich ein wenig Gefummel. Vom Poster: [https://www.reddit.com/r/pcmasterrace/comments/60xpuw/justmasterracethings_playing_full_desktop_vr_on_a/] the headset was £20 but literately any cardboard viewer will work using a program/ app combo called Trinus VR which is £7.50 (if you search around you can find the full version for free, but tbh i will likely buy in considering how awesome it is), can work over wifi but works 250% better with a usb tether. any android phone will work with the usb tether (from what i can tell), iphones are limited to wifi only which kinda sucks Aber natürlich ist es nicht der real deal. Aber für den Preis... sofern PC und Android Phone schon am Start ist, ist man hier für etwa 30 EUR dabei. It's a cool thing to demo, but it's no substitute for the real setup. Take my word for it. You get compression and latency issues sending a video stream over USB, the FOV is low, and the 60hz refresh rate is just too low for immersive VR. Plus, no head tracking without a dedicated sensor. Kommt aber auch auf die Linsen-Headset-Kombo an. For the FoV, that is entirely dependent on the headset you choose. Something like Daydream, VR Box, or actual cardboard, you're gonna have a bad time. But something like Bobo Z4 is pretty close. Depending on how you have to adjust the lenses to fit your eyes you're looking at around 110 degree FoV. Andere Leute schreiben, "VRidge" sei die bessere Wahl, weil Trinus VR Lag-Probleme hat. Vridge is a better app for this use. Less latency issues.
